The Democratic presidential debate TV numbers continue to fall
by Nathan'ette Burdine: December 24, 2015

The number of people watching the Democratic Presidential debate dropped down to 6.71 million viewers.

This is approximately a 55 percentage point drop from a high of the more than 15 million viewers who watched the first debate in early October.

In November, there were 7.22 million people who watched the Democratic Presidential debate.

The good news for the Democratic Party is that more viewers watched the debate than any of the other shows airing Saturday night.

The bad news is that the voters are losing interest in the Democratic Presidential debate, which means the interest in the candidates is waning.

The Republicans, however, have managed to keep the voters’ interest. Now, it’s not clear whether the voters’ interest is due to them having a good time laughing out their right sides at the jokes the Republican Presidential candidates are making about each other, or whether it’s because the voters can’t wait to hear what frontrunner Donald Trump will say next.

But what is clear is that the number of viewers who watched the last three Republican Presidential debates increased by more than 19 percentage points.

The last Republican Presidential debate in October drew 14 million viewers. The next debate drew in 13.45 million viewers, while the last debate drew in 18.17 million viewers.
